I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist based in New York. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing creative blocks, eating disorders/disordered eating, OCD, and anxiety. I believe that therapy is a singular space where you receive a careful kind of listening and the possibility of hearing your desires clearly, often for the first time.
About Me
I am a New York State licensed master social worker. I graduated with honors from Silberman School of Social Work. My graduate work explored psychoanalytic approaches to treating psychosis. I have worked in outpatient hospital and clinic settings with patients across the lifespan experiencing a wide range of difficulties.
I am a candidate in adult psychoanalysis at the Contemporary Freudian Society. I also participate in an ongoing study group on the subject of eating disorders and desire. I have received training in EFT, an attachment-focused modality for couples.
I hold a Bachelors in Literary Studies from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School. Previously, I worked for many years in book publishing and the arts.
